What do you see? Barnacles? Shells? Mistakes? Decisions? The work of Janaki Larsen is so natural and organic in its process that the final forms can’t help but echo the beauty of nature.

What is the nature of genius?
Is it always intellectual?
Can one be an emotional or an aesthetic genius? The work of Larsen seems to exhibit both.

Our first Hookup project is this 11 foot long ceramic enigma. 

The two pieces reside tabletop in our Vancouver and Calgary studios—open to and for interpretation—wether enjoyed as it was created, or joined by the talent of a chef,
perhaps a florist, or wherever the mind may lead…
